The purpose of the Security team is:
- To ensure operational security related risks are managed in CVM area and in all supporting areas
- To ensure customer data privacy related risks are managed adequately in line with requirements
- Security measures directly affect the way CVM handles and accesses customer data and executes campaigns, impacting both operational efficiency and customer trust.
- Security measures also influence the usability of internal CVM technology, impacting the efficiency of the team and all supporting teams.
Lack of alignment with Security team results in delays and obstruction of work in CVM.
- Implementing security protocols in CVM processes
- Ensuring secure handling of customer data
- Aligning CVM activities with security policies
- CVM area works with one of the most sensitive assets from a security standpoint – customer data, consolidated into one place. As a result, CVM generates a number of risks related to customer data leakage.
- CVM are provides feedback on existing security measures.
Collaboration with security team is a must to manage risks inherent in CVM initiatives. The teams should focus on:
- Adoption of secure operational procedures in CVM work like secure data handling in customer segmentation and analysis.
- Implementing secure data access controls in CVM tools and platforms.
- Monitoring of security in automated CVM processes, e.g. adversarial attacks against predictive models used in CVM
- Regular security audits and assessments of CVM processes.
