Senior Product Owner

Overall, we operate one of the largest big-data environments in the Baltics, and we certainly have one of the most challenging analytical projects.

Exacaster’s Genesis team is looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our team.

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong track record of defining and delivering valuable products.You‘ll drive AI/ML solution delivery across client projects – shaping requirements, managing the backlog, and contributing to the broader product evolution – working with international clients to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive measurable impact.

You’ll lead development for multiple initiatives ranging from smaller pilots to complex enterprise implementations in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. This role requires strong product thinking combined with hands-on delivery leadership – you’ll not only define what to build but also ensure the team delivers it effectively.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and delivery teams, ensuring product vision and business objectives are clearly understood by all stakeholders

  • Facilitate product discovery and requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and data analysis

  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that guide development teams

  • Lead Agile ceremonies and processes: sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives 

  • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams including AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and analysts – set priorities, align on goals, and ensure delivery momentum 

  • Make trade-off decisions on scope, timeline, and quality to maximize product value

  • Use data, metrics, and user feedback to validate assumptions and guide product iterations

  • Track delivery progress against milestones and proactively address blockers 

  • Present product roadmaps, progress updates, and business outcomes to internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for a person who has:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Business, or similar

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in B2B technology environments

  • Proven track record of defining and delivering successful products in Agile environments

  • Strong analytical and business thinking – comfortable with data, metrics, and ROI analysis

  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills

  • Deep understanding of Agile product development (Scrum, Kanban) and backlog management

  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional technical teams 

  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions

  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar

  • Strong facilitation and workshop skills

  • Ability to communicate product vision and technical concepts to both technical and business audiences

  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to make decisions with incomplete information

  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken

  • Proactive, results-oriented approach with strong sense of ownership

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AI, ML, or Data Science products

  • CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or similar certification

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification 

  • Experience in telecommunications or financial services sectors

  • Understanding of data engineering concepts (data lakes, cloud architecture, ETL pipelines)

  • Technical background in software development, data science, or analytics

  • Experience with product analytics tools and frameworks

  • Background working in high-growth or startup environments
