Exacaster’s team is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Pilot team.

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist who is passionate about working with data and making a data-driven impact on the business. In this role, you will apply your expertise in data science to extract insights from complex datasets and design, develop, and maintain AI/ML models. Additionally, if it aligns with your professional development goals, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives that drive our business forward.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define AI/ML project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Develop new end-to-end data processes, including the design and implementation of machine learning models.
• Optimize existing data processes and machine learning models to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Create clear and concise documentation — including technical specifications, user guides, and presentations — to communicate complex AI/ML concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay Informed by researching the latest advancements in AI/ML to inform project development and innovation.

We are looking for a person who has:

• Proficiency in Python, with experience using AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with AI/ML techniques, including supervised learning (e.g., classification algorithms) and unsupervised learning (e.g., clustering, segmentation techniques).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative AI solutions.
• Business acumen to design solutions that address key business challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on several concurrent projects.
• Experience using SQL databases, with the ability to write efficient queries and manage large datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Nice to have things:

• Experience in developing and implementing processes based on generative AI models, with hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, and similar.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience using GenAI and machine learning libraries and frameworks such as LangChain, LangServe, Streamlit, Chainlit, and others.
• Previous experience in a consulting environment: Ability to interact with clients, understand their needs, and deliver customised AI solutions.
• Proficiency with Git for version control: Experience in collaborative development using Git, GitHub, or similar platforms.
• Innovative mindset: Creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement novel AI solutions.
• Experience in data visualisation tools like Tableau, PowerBI.
